Countless volunteers and many thousand hours of selfless sacrifice by them, made this Living Memorial a possibility. Today, and forever, it stands as an active tribute of love by Clear Lake area citizens for those few who gave so much for our liberty.

With that in mind, today, May 31st, 2021, Clear Lake Area Veterans’ Memorial and all citizens of Clear Lake area, desire to honor our long forgotten Vietnam Veterans. For it was those valiant men and women who went to war, did their duty and were often scorned by many. However, time has healed the wounds from that war.
